The Broch came within a post width of retaking the lead on 48 minutes when Miller cut the ball back to Ryan McLean who saw his shot rebound off the post. The home side continued to press and Stuart Laird found Kelly on the touchline, he drove into the box before seeing his low drive well saved. The pressure told on 55 minutes when Zane Laird set up his brother Stuart who curled the ball past Findlay in the visitor’s goal.

On the hour Rory Brown tested Inglis in the Broch goal but he was equal to the task tipping the Turriff youngster’s shot over the crossbar. Four minutes later Knox found space inside the box and fired home to level the score again. Back came the Broch with Zane Laird crossing for Miller who brought out a good save by Findlay. Callum Nicol went close for the visitors on 71 minutes with a drive which flew past Inglis’ left hand post.

Into the last fifteen minutes and both teams were looking for the winner. Cameron Robertson sent Zane Laird clear on goal but he saw his shot saved. At the other end Kyle Gordon went close on two occasions, first he saw a shot deflected wide then on 84 minutes he found space six yards out but Inglis produced a wonder save to keep the score level. As the game entered injury time a long ball forward by Inglis picked out Zane Laird on the left and his cross was tapped home by Kelly to secure all three points for the Broch.
