Player Round Up

Fraserburgh FC are delighted to announce the signing of Jordan Guild. The former Aberdeen Youth and Fraserburgh United player joins the club on a two year contract. Manager, Mark Cowie, had been impressed with the 28 year-old during his displays as a trialist in our three pre season matches.

“Jordan was recommended to us by a few different sources and one we have kept a close eye on. He is an athletic lad and gets about the park well. He has a composure on the ball also that will soon be seen as he settles in to the side. We have to thank Russell McBride and Fraserburgh United for their assistance with this deal as they have allowed us to have a proper look at Jordan in our training and a couple of friendlies which he has showed up really well in. We needed additions in midfield and Jordan comes in to bulk us up a bit in there. We lost Grant Campbell over the close season and we know that will be quite a void to fill. Jordan is his own player and has a different style to Grant but he will add to what we already have and I’m looking forward to seeing his Fraserburgh FC career go from strength to strength”.

Jordan will go straight into the squad for today’s match against Kilmarnock.

Also stepping up to the first team squad are Jamie MacLellan and Zane Laird. Both players have penned one year deals and have featured regularly for the U18s and U21s over the past few years. Jamie (17) and Zane (18) who had a spell on loan at Buchanhaven Hearts last year, are likely to be loaned out for the coming season as well as featuring in our Aberdeenshire League matches.
