It is with deep sorrow that we learn of the sad passing of former Committee Member, Ian Smith.

Ian was a hugely popular member of the club until he had to step down due to ill health. He was never happier than when he was looking after everyone in the Hospitality Lounge. He took great pride in that role and has been sadly missed.

Not only was he popular at Bellslea Park but at all the other clubs in the League.

Ian was also the driver of the Team Bus for well over 20 years, another role he revelled in.

Our thoughts go out to his wife Eleanora, daughters Julie and Amanda as well as his brother Brian and sister Moira at this sad time.

Ian’s funeral procession will pass Bellslea Park after the funeral service which is being held at Alexander Buchan and Sons Funeral Parlour at 2pm
