Score Group Ltd continues their support of Fraserburgh FC and Peterhead FC
We are delighted to announce that our Community Coaching Matchday Programme has been sponsored by Score Group Ltd. This was previously sponsored by Apache and we are thank them for their support. In these uncertain times it is comforting to have a new sponsor for this as we feel this is an important part of the club. It is always pleasing to see the kids enjoying their time with our players and having their sessions on the pitch on a Matchday. We have had some terrific feedback from the kids and parents alike and are delighted we will be able to continue with this through the hard work of Graeme Noble and Clare Batty.
Score Group have been excellent sponsors of club for many many years through the late Charles Ritchie and his family and, as I am sure Peterhead FC will be too, we are delighted that can continue with the new owners of Score Group Ltd.
Score Group are one of the North East of Scotland biggest employers and at Fraserburgh FC we have 12 players who are employees of Score. They have an award winning Apprenticeship Scheme and it is fitting they are supporting our young kids through the Matchday Programme.
CEO Gordon Ronaldson said “We remain committed to helping our local communities. In the north east of Scotland, football clubs are a significant part of many families’ lives. Both Peterhead and Fraserburgh football clubs have been unable to welcome any supporters this season due to Covid-19; the loss of matchday income and sponsorship is a particular challenge which does threaten the future of the game in Scotland.
We are delighted to announce that we have stepped in to assist both clubs. For season 20/21, we are sponsoring the official Peterhead FC match shirt with the Score Group logo prominently displayed in the centre of the shirt.
At Fraserburgh FC, they recently lost the sponsor of their children’s matchday Programme, which is a community initiative to provide training and fun to young children on a Saturday, which put the program under threat. We have stepped in to fund that program for the season.
We wish both of the NE teams every success for the season ahead”
Thanks again to all at Score Group Ltd.
